Due to technical issues I'm having to get creative to how I'm getting warm, luckily this issue hopefully shall be delt with by Tuesday 4th Feb, sorry in any delays to commissions in progress, due to not having heat, I am finding doing tasks with my hands painful.
Art of the day
I have been creating videos on the social media platforms I use, to show you all a piece of my art, that I have for sale, each day. In doing that it means I need to now catch up and pop those pieces I've shown onto my shop. Any enquiries are welcome.
Going Gonkers
Exciting New Gonks Coming to Our Store!
We’re thrilled to announce that our latest batch of Gonks is nearly ready for the shop! Right now, they’re receiving their final clear coat, ensuring that their hand-painted designs are protected and long-lasting.
For this collection, we’ve embraced autumn themes with beautiful floral and leaf patterns. One of my personal favorites is the blue-bearded Gonk, which took quite some time to complete. He features detailed mushrooms and pumpkins on his jumper, adding a charming seasonal touch. Each Gonk in this batch took about an hour to paint, and I can confidently say they’re an absolute bargain at just £10 each—some might even call it a steal!
I’ve considered standardizing four patterns and colors or even printing designs directly onto the Gonks, but for now, I believe the hand-painted approach retains the special, human touch that makes each one unique.
Stay tuned for their release, and don’t miss your chance to own one of these special, hand-crafted creations!
Gonks & Limehouse gallery Stalham
We’re thrilled to share that while most of our paintings have moved from the Limehouse Gallery in Stalham, our handcrafted trinkets, including our beloved Gonks, are still available there.
To ensure the highest quality and consistency, we’ve transitioned from plaster to 3D printing for our Gonks. This new approach reduces breakages while maintaining the same price—just £10 (plus postage and packaging for online orders). Each Gonk is hand-painted and given its own unique personality, making it a perfect addition to any collection.
Thanks to 3D printing, we now offer **miniature Gonk keyrings**! These charming miniatures are available both online and at the Limehouse Gallery—carry a bit of joy with you wherever you go!
We’ve also expanded our collection to include **crochet land and sea creatures**, available as keyrings. These adorable, handcrafted creatures bring a touch of whimsy and nature-inspired charm to your everyday essentials.
For collectors, we’re offering **two limited-edition plaster angelfish**, meticulously hand-painted and available exclusively at the Limehouse Gallery. These unique pieces are perfect for those seeking something truly special.

Finding a new muse
Over the last few weeks I have been busy making and creating art pieces and new pieces for Limehouse Gallery in Stalham.
So far, I have got a substantial collection going on in the gallery at Stallon. I have got not only paintings but I have made some handmade items which are in picture below.I am currently working on new designs for cards and postcards to be sold also in the gallery as well, we have got Gnomes (gonks), Fairy houses and mushrooms all handmade these are exclusive and only available at the gallery, so there is something for everybody and at various price ranges. All these items are available exclusively at the gallery. All these items are available exclusively at the gallery.
Working on commissions and other bit still you can still hire me for such events and other occasions to any interest in art pieces that have either sold or I have got for sale and you wish to have commission please don’t hesitate in contacting us.
Below is a example of the piece of work that I have for sale in the gallery, this image is based on a landscape using greens as the sky and blues as the scenic Nature part of the landscape the idea of inverted traditional landscape with high colour and different values within Nature and looking at Nature from a different perspective of colour and how that makes a landscape change and changes the perspective for the viewer.
Work continues in may
This year, I’ve had the exciting opportunity to showcase my work in a gallery space, allowing people to experience my art in person. My goal is to continue exhibiting in similar galleries and presenting my work to a broader audience. However, balancing this with my current commissions and mural projects has made my schedule twice as busy and my workload three times as heavy. Perhaps I should consider hiring a secretary—just kidding!
On a more serious note, creating a professional catalogue of my work has been challenging due to my ongoing experimentation with styles. Recently, I’ve found myself gravitating back to brush painting over spray cans, largely due to health reasons. Despite the challenges, I am incredibly grateful for the work I have and feel blessed to have such amazing clients.
Additionally, I’m excited to announce that my artwork is now available for purchase online. Visitors to my website can browse and buy digital prints and other items featuring my work. This new platform allows me to share my art with an even wider audience and offers a convenient way for art lovers to acquire unique pieces for their collections.
Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm. I look forward to sharing more of my creative journey with you and hope to see you at my next exhibition!
Below is a commission entitled "The Star" - there is also a digital version called "Simulated Sue" that touch on mental health and imposter syndrome and how through the terrible problems thaT these mental health issues create there is always hope.

Whats been happening
Hello to everyone that comes here to get the updates of what is going on, so we have completed a mural on a lovely small business in Lowestoft, the shop is called Victoria mini mart, on Victoria road Lowestoft.
This took us a while as we have got the marsh house mural still ongoing in Lowestoft too, and this one was when the weather was good and when we have time to spare. This wall food items you see are all hand cut one off stencils that we cut for this project, a lot of people asked in passing on the wall how long it took and so how much it cost, it too about 96 hours spread through, this includes the time it took to cut the stencils (and waiting on paint) , and the cost was our standard wall rate.
The client and those whom live in the area all have remarked on how it brings colour and something different to the area. The shopkeeper said its reminiscent to how shops used to advertise themselves, and is happy with the result.
Meanwhile on the Marsh house project….
we are now at the stages of adding texture and the other bits to the bottom, then when the weather gets better we are going towards the eaves of the house. This piece has a lot of heart and soul poured into it, and will hopefully be finished by 2022.
Anything else?
we have also been very busy in the work shop doing holiday gifts, unfortunately, we have got so many things that we are now working on, I can not put these online now until the new year. we have hand crocheted blankets, standard single size, standard double size and then we do the custom sizes for throws and baby blankets (the standard sizes have standard prices, custom orders pricing will varies).
We still make our storage pots and plant pots.
we have our hand made hamper handbags, which are stuffed with hand made goodies such as soaps, wax melts, candles, bath-bombs and other bits.
What we do currently have in stock and is available right now is a limited run of prints of the blue heron, they are 5 inches by 7 inches and a photo example is below, they are only £2 each ( the postage is included in the price, if sending abroad add £1 on) , each one is signed and numbered. so get them whiles they are still available.
Marsh house, lowestoft & ferini art gallery
I am currently working on a mural in Lowestoft, and it is a big one.
We are working on getting this piece done, and all the commissions I am currently working on too.
If you have been keeping an eye on the news, or my social media accounts, you can see that artist Banksy was here on his spraycation, love the fact he turned up, and celebrated it by doing four paintings which I hid around Lowestoft.
The paintings where based on comments from a community page on Facebook, because a lady's granddaughter spotted me shaking my cans going towards marsh house.
One comment stuck, that I look like Mary Poppins, and because it's Lowestoft she's more likely to have a Stella.
Hence why Stella poppins came about. She is available from our red bubble store as a print. So check that out here.
There is only 4 Stella's in this collection of paintings each different.
The next thing I need to talk about is a post card I submitted for the auction hosted by the Ferini art gallery in Lowestoft, where the post card will be available on durrets auction house you can look at the catalogue there, the auction is online too, and starts on the 1st September 2021 @ 19.00 UK time.
My piece is number 2 in the catalogue 😊😂🍄

Today I thought I would practice my lettering as I feel I do neglect it a lot. I have found that simpler is better and less is more. Simple is easy to replicate I think I’m onto something.

In fig 1 a you see the types of posts and their materials that they are made of. All posts are a potential art piece including lamp posts and internet boxes but caution to where things need to open and shut.
Cost should be taken into consideration as well as the environmental cost and the cost to the public.Concrete/cement. As ideas go I have so many Ideas for this one you can use expanding foam through to wood.

What about me? - ITO - skateboards
Making and designing skateboards from stencils, I had to make one of the dog as he is now book famous now. Here is the fox on a board and the Charlie board design as requested from the biggest fans of Charlie…that being us. They have clear grip tape thanks to venom grip tape that we sourced from eBay, we used glow the dark spray paint as well as acrylic colours sealed with a clear gloss coat. All stencils have been hand cut, or reused from previous craft stencil packs.
we added trucks and wheels, we intended to have sushi trucks and wheels but the holes in the board. But luckily we had some others and it makes the board look awesome.
custom board orders and designs will be available here in our store, just decks not including trucks and wheels.
Been creating
These photos are of what we are currently working on , each fox and every detail has been done with hand made stencils we will be selling them in our store soon we have also got 8 by 8 inch canvases with hand painted abstracts as well as the chickens. Stay safe and watch this place inky x
Selling our photos and frames
We have 6 modern and stylish framed photos, which will give a room some flare each photo is unique and one off take on 70sx film and a analog camera.
Each one is singled dated and numbered.
any questions please ask.
Handmade hamper handbags (H.H.H)
We have been busy making and producing our handmade handbag hampers, we have got a couple of the hamper handbags listed in our ebay store, but as soon as possible we shall be putting them onto our store here. We have also made labels and boxes so our hampers will arrive in style.
so far we have got soaps, candles and bath bombs to fill our bags, soon there will be reusable face masks, scarves, hats, gloves and so much more.
keep an eye on this space
Welcome to ebay
We have finally reduced our candle sizes as we where told the glass jar candles even thought they are great they are hard to re light and to use, so we have made candle squares and rectangles to match our bath bombs and soaps. All our candles are mixed with paraffin, soy and bees wax, all have different scents and colours mixes too. Also there is an safety issue with candle in jars getting damaged before they have made it to their destination. So we are happier that these changes have been implemented, and we can now list these items on ebay under the seller name InkyTheObvious.
Moving onwards with creating
We have been busy, coming up with new ideas and making the studio smell as we start making soaps, bath bombs, candles and crochet bag to turn into mini affordable hampers to treat somebody with.
we are thinking of making preserves and a food hamper later on but for now here is the prototype of our medium sized pampering handbag hamper.
all thing in this hamper are hand made, and once items used the handbag it’s self is a fantastic item on its own.
Well not only have we started making moves on making hamper handbags we also have got a wriggle on the book that was digitised on the Apple Books store is no also available in paper back form from amazon.
